
Another oldie from last year. To answer a few questions - most of my drawings start as black on white ink drawings. Sometimes I do color with markers but usually gray. Others are colored in photoshop, but I try to keep a whimsical and loose quality to these. To quote my sister, I am trying to emulate the "plaka years" with strange colors in large flat areas.
Here's an example of an "after" the raw sketch (above). In this type of drawing, which is heavy in line work, I usually adjust areas of dark and light to add focus.

Anyhow, there is a lot of playing with this and I don't destroy any originals while I'm at it!
